A much needed holiday celebration was held last week in Gonzales during the 25th Annual Gonzales Christmas Tree Lighting. More than 2,000 residents gathered at Jambalaya Park where they were greeted with numerous holiday lights, Christmas caroling from Center Stage Performing Arts Academy, visits by Santa Claus and his elves and complimentary hot coco and Ascension Parish's famous jambalaya.
