Increasing Interest in Beekeeping as a Hobby

There have been many reports in recent years about the challenges for survival of native bee populations, as well as an increasing public interest in the hobby of beekeeping.The number of local or area beekeeping clubs in Louisiana has more than doubled in recent years, with at least 17 of these clubs meeting regularly now.
